Final Week of Victorian Shows + Sydney Workshops + Website down

G'day everyone,

Sadly, the main website url for The Backyard Bard is down today (and any email address ending with @thebackyardbard.com won't work).
But - you can still get to it by going to 'www.backyardbard.com' (note that it doesn't have 'the' at the beginning) - and you can send emails to any Backyard Bard email address as long as you take out the 'the' at the start of the domain name (i.e. rob@thebackyardbard.com becomes rob@backyardbard.com).

Hopefully this will be sorted out by tomorrow!

Final Week of Victorian Shows

We've loved performing the shows of 'The Adventures of Elisha' in Melbourne over the last couple of weeks.

This is the final week for you to be able to see it! Make sure you don't miss out. Here are the details for the remaining shows:

SHAC - St Hilary's Anglican Church - Wednesday, 8:00 pm, October 22
12 John St, Kew
Tickets: $12 (Kids $8)

St John's Highton (Geelong) - Friday, 8:00 pm, October 24
269 Roslyn Road, Highton
Entry by donation.

St Thomas' Burwood Anglican Church - Saturday, 7:30 pm, October 25
Cnr Broughton Rd and Beech St, Surrey Hills
Tickets: $20 (Kids $8) - (Extra funds used to support the work at St Thomas' Burwood)

Full Gospel Assembly (Sanctuary at YWAM Centre) - Sunday 5:00 pm, October 26
1 Kent Rd., Surrey Hills
In place of church meeting.

Sydney Workshops

Not only are we performing Elisha up in Sydney (see details below) but we are also running a crash course in Public Bible Reading and some workshops.

The Crash Course is just the same as the one we ran in Melbourne earlier this year and it was a great hit and really beneficial to those that came.
Public Bible Reading at church is something we all know that we can do better - here's your chance!

Cost: Only $35 - (and if you come to the Elisha show in the evening as well you get a $5 discount on your ticket)

We are also guest presenters at the Create Conference run by Outreach Media where we are running workshops on Biblical Storytelling and Public Bible Reading.
It's on Saturday November 15th from 8:30am - 6:00pm at The King's School in North Paramatta.
