10 Year Celebration next week!

G'day everyone,

I've very excited that the Backyard Bard's 10 year celebration will be happening Saturday next week. It should be a terrific night. There will be a bunch of stories from storytellers past and present, some videos (including footage from our first ever production when I had semi-long hair), and much more. Come along and enjoy the company, the stories and give thanks for God with us for what He's done through His Word over the past decade.

Backyard Bard Middle East Update

In last month's email update, I mentioned the possibility that my wife Simone and I may not be able to reach the deadline for us to meet our financial support target to enable us to leave in August. This has turned out to be the case and we are now planning to leave in January. We think this is for the best and we're grateful to God to have this extra time in Melbourne. But in order to leave in January, we need your help. We are looking for churches to come alongside us and to become 'Link Churches' where you can follow along with our newsletters and have us visit when we're back in Australia and where the church can support us financially as we pioneer this work. We'd love the opportunity to share our vision with you at your church.
